Let's see.. I attended school locally and have lived in this area since elementary school. If you ever have the chance to visit the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia it is absolutely breathtaking! Beware however it has been my observation that those who live here never really leave lol. We may go away for a few months but we always come back. Most of my family lives in the Tidewater area which is fine by me... saves on hotel bills when I want to go to the beach! I don't really want to talk about my family too much here because I am making special pages just for them....
I love flowers as well... I am forever planting something new. We bought our home a little over 6 years ago and I have so enjoyed looking for old plants here. The house sat empty for many years before we remodeled it and I've found so many lovely plants on the property since then... just have to be lazy about mowing to find some. We have calla lillies that started out in a tiny pot at Home Depot over 9 years ago. We were visiting family at the beach and Kevin picked them up for me... they have separated and I now have an entire bed devoted to just the lillies. They were about 6 inches tall in the pots and now they grow well past my knees and have provided hours of enjoyment. We have some type of violets growing in the lot beside our house that in the spring form a perfect circle/ faery circle if you will because the energy there is unbelievable! We also have some strange crocus� these however are a pale purple and bloom everywhere in our front yard... the leaves apparently come out at a different time than the blooms because when they bloom there are no leaves just the tiny delicate flowers everywhere! I'll take a pic cuz they are due to bloom in the next few weeks! Yeah, I'm excited lol.
I also love animals. We have two dogs Bingo� and Pepper. Bingo has been around forever it seems and is my baby. He is the absolute biggest cocker spaniel I've ever seen... Kevin and the kids refer to him as big butt quite often. I now refer to him as Eeyore because he is slowing down with age. lol. We have one cat thta really has no name. We just randomly call her Kitty.
I also love windchimes. I have a nice little collection presently. Just picked up an awesome bamboo chime at a local shop with some great chinese looking carvings on it. I see myself as an old lady with hundreds of chimes hanging around our property lol. I have a tendency to hang them from trees which is personally where I think they should be.
I also love to draw and painting is a long since forgotten past-time that I plan to recapture:) O.K. you asked for it lol are you bored yet??
