ANISE- Masculine, Jupiter or Moon, Air Magickal attributes: Protection, purification, awareness, joy. Keep bedside to prevent bad dreams. Medicinal: Treating coughs, bronchitis and stuffy nose. Can releive upset stomachs and flatulence when taken as a tea as well as treat colic. BASIL- Masculine, Mars, Fire Magickal attributes: Protection, love and wealth<carry in wallet>, healing, relationships, courage, exorcism and fertility. Can be used as an ingredient in a purification bath as well as in love sachets or incenses. Medicinal: Calming to the nerves and settling to the stomach as a tea. Great hair rinse for brunettes. BAY- Magickal attributes: protection, psychic powers, wisdom Medicinal: Good for bronchitis and chest colds as a poultice DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY CARAWAY- Masculine, Mercury, Air Magickal attributes: Passion, Protection. In tea form is a gentle sleep inducer. Also makes a great insect repellent and hair rinse for blondes. CAYENNE PEPPER- Medicinal: Promotes fast recovery, stops internal as well as external bleeding, said to prevent heart attacks and help with depression and headaches. Excellent flu fighter. CINNAMON- Masculine, Sun, Fire Magickal attributes: Love, spiritual quests, augmenting power, success, healing, cleansing, psychic work. Makes a good annointing oil for any working. Medicinal: Digestive aid and skin astringent as a tea. Diarrhea, indigestion.
