When I think of water I get all bubbly inside:) When times are rough especially emotional times my favorite thing to do is head to the beach. It only takes a day or so of just being near the ocean and I'm good to go for a good six months! Water is emotional. It is flowing, it is psychic. Water is cooling, calming, and cleansing. Water is the element of intuition, the subconcious mind, and of the astral plane. The elementals of water are the Undines, and they control the flow and the movement of lakes, streams, waterfalls and rivers. Undines may be found in any place that water exists even in a single drop of water. Water magick can be used to ease the flow of a situation, calm a hurt and aid in emotional distress. |
| Attuning to Water There are many ways to attune yourself with an element best of which is interaction. * Visit an aquarium or marine life exhibit at your local zoo. * Go swimming <preferable in a natural lake or pond but your local pool will do> * Take a long bath and just enjoy the presence of water. * Drink water * Walk in the rain <don't catch cold!> * Take a trip and visit a lake, the ocean, a pond or stream. * Go sailing or rent a canoe for the day It is almost impossible to do any of these activities without feeling the power and calm of water. Take time to really commune with it. Feel the "texture" if you will. Explore it with all your senses! |
