ALBUM: The W
ARTIST: Wu-Tang Clan
LABEL: Loud Records
RELEASED:2000

The Wu-Tang reunite for their fourth album together.  After many successful solo projects, all nine members with the exception of Ol' Dirty Bastard (who appears only on one song) put it on again.  With the awesome beats produced by The RZA.

The record it self is some what a hip-hop masterpiece.  This is hip-hop in its purist form, beats and ryhmes.  Wu-Tang beleive their music is strictly hip-hop.  Even ODB, who was absent for most of the recording checks in on the single
Conditioner, which also features Snoop Dogg.

Produced by The RZA, this record represents what hip-hop is all about.  Highlights of the album are the singles
Chamber Music and  Protect Ya Neck(The Jump Off).

All members give an exhillerating performance which truely represents hip-hop. My favourite members of Wu-Tang are Method Man and Ghostface Killah.

I strongly recommend you get this record if you are a true hip-hop fan.  Otherwise better stick to Will Smith.

****1/2
