Intro To: United Urban Nations
It all began in 2000.  Four young emcees were destined to become part of a hip-hop super group.  It didn't happen that year.  So 2001 had new truths for the group.  It was a learning curb for the members.  They realised that the group needed more stage presence and a demo to intice the hip-hop uneducated.   To get pass this they cut Rafik.  Then things began to take a turn for the better.  With a promotional cut of Tupac's "Until The End Of Time" remixed with Wu Tang's "Triumph", Dean Johnston, Martini Samson and Jonathon Ung made history as the first Rap act to appear at the Kavanagh College Eistedford.  This was the beginnings of the United Urban Nations.  The name comes from the fact that all members are of different race, but all believe in hip-hop unity.  The saga continues, as these artists look to converge on a record deal.  Dean Johnston took a dream and turned it to reality.  With a record deal looking unrealistic, Johnston created his own independent label, Friendly Ghost Records.  The group has signed to do an album, due for release early next fall.  The group has also been part of many other ventures such as Mung Productions.  This came from Martini's first initial and Jonathon's last name.  Mung produces its own short films.  A new website will be launched soon to promote these new ventures in a hope to get recognised as potential television and radio recruits.
