This Week's Big Question:
Is Rafik Fat?
Is Rafik fat?  This is a question that has plagued many philosophers over the last few years.  I am determined to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Background Info:
Who or What is Rafik:  Rafik turned up on door steps on Kavanagh College in 1999.  Rafik was born in Egypt and has also lived in Christchurch.  Rafik is 2 feet tall and wears glasses.  I'll have picture of him in a couple of days.

Rafik's weight has now become an issue over the last few weeks.  He claims to be thin but I beg to differ in opinion.

The Arguement:
I've asked a few people what they think about Rafik.  I asked the question plain and simple:  Is Rafik Fat?  I recieved many different opinions on this sensitive subject.  One  Maori who did not want to be named (due to witness protection order) said "That's what everybody used to say about me but look at me now!"  Others, including an anonymous Canadian say "YES! YES! YES!".  I, myself have a neutral opinion until I find resonable evidence.  As an investigative reporter it is my duty to get to the bottom of the story.

Evidence:
I have found evidence including pictures of Rafik that show a major change in weight or body fat.  This could be also due to the way he wears his clothes, like a Homeboy from South-side Harlem.

Scientific Opinion:
"I haven't seen him since yesterday, but from a few calculations I've done if he continues to gain weight at the rate he currently is, he will have to buy special chairs and desks to sit at school, and will not be able to ride most vehicles as well as a need for special beds and new XXXXXXL clothes..."  "...If this trend continues for too long I fear the excess weight on Rafik's little bones will cause him to kill himself through to much weight crushing his bones and innerds"

Photographic Info
I have now photographic evidence of this strange Rafik Phenomena.

Conclusion
I have come to the conclusion that Rafik is indeed fat.  This is due to a body fat ailement that is rare, therefore we shall name it the
Rafikus Syndromus Fatius Disorder.  I can only suggest this rare disorder has come from the ancient land of Egypt.  It is highly deadly and and is non contagious but there is no known cure.
