1999 - 2000 Season

All league games shall be OPEN START, DOUBLE FINISH, with the exception of the singles.  A match will consist of 16 games, to be played as follows: 

        (4) team games of 701 (4 person team) 
        (4) doubles games of 501 (best of 3) 
        (4) singles games of 301 (best of 3), DOUBLE IN, DOUBLE OUT 
        (4) team games of 701 (4 person team) 

PLEASE NOTE:  If a team is short players, the team need not forfeit the game, they may play with three players, missing one throw each turn in the team games, forfeit one singles, and forfeit one doubles game.

The home team will post names first and shoot first for the bull in every game.  Any player can  play a maximum of 8 team games, 2 doubles and 1 single.  THE SAME DOUBLES TEAM  CANNOT PLAY TWICE.

Regular starting time for matches will be 7:45 p.m., with a 15 minute grace.  Any team having only two players by 8:00 p.m. will forfeit the match.  Teams with three players will start at 8:00 p.m. sharp following the regular format, (i.e.) Team, Doubles, Singles, Team, and will forfeit one singles and one doubles if their fourth player is not present at the start of those sets of games.  TEAMS WITH 4 PLAYERS PRESENT MUST START AT 7:45 P.M.

Teams must play on Mondays.  Any team unable to play on a Monday will forfeit the match and  receive no points.  The other team will receive maximum points.  THERE ARE NO EXECPTIONS!!!

(4)  No league player will play anything but league darts on a board adjacent to any other league matches. 

(5)  Players who sit out a game will be allowed a six dart warm-up before the start of the next game

Upon the completion of a nights play the HOME captain reports the results to the designated officials with 48 hours.  Scorecards must be handed in or mailed in by HOME CAPTAIN.  All information must be printed on the scorecard.  Failure to comply will result in loss of points.  THIS INCLUDES 180'S AND HIGH FINISHES!!!  Both captains are to sign the scorecards. 

(7) Any player showing unsportsmanlike conduct will receive a written notice of warning from the executive.  Any further complaints regarding the player in question, will result in the player's expulsion from the league.  The offending player will forfeit their dues.

(8) Complaints must be in writing and given to the league President.  The Presidents decision will be final.

(9) A team shall have a minimum of 4 registered players and a maximum of 10.  New players can be added at any time, but full dues must be paid one week in advance of playing.  DUES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE.

(10) Dues at $25.00 per player.  Teams must be registered by the third Monday in September.  Dues and roster due by the third Monday in October. 

(11) Tournament games will remain at $3.00 per player, with the exception of the Turkey Shoot which will be $5.00 per player.  Games start at 8:00 p.m. SHARP!!    Players must be registerd IN PERSON by 7:45 p.m. SHARP!!

(12) Boundaries for the Delta Dart League will include:  Richmond, South Delta, Tsawwassen and Marpole. 

(13) A match will consist of  a maximum of 16 points.  IE:  1 point per game (or best of three games in the doubles and singles.) 

(14) All locations must be approved by the League Committee, be safe and adequate, have proper, playable dart boards, lighting and chalk boards.  Tournaments can only be held in establishments that  have four dart boards or more. 

(15) All games are to be chalked from left to right (i.e. your score is marked on the left, total points  remaining to be marked on the right.)  All teams to chalk alternate games. 

(16) Delta Cup/Consolation Cup playoff format to be held over one night only.
