The story of a ship called the Black Pearl, pirated by those who are cursed because of Aztec gold. Another story of the love of young Will Turner (a blacksmith) and miss Elizabeth Swan (governor's daughter). Another story of Cap'n Jack Sparrow and his search for his ship, his life, and his struggle with the English navy. It's an AWESOME movie and posts at my number one spot of all time, side by side with Finding Nemo.
As far as action movies go, or any kind of movie for that matter, this was a brilliant one. Based on the Disney World ride of the same name, it tells of a curse and the struggles of and surrounding a ship called the Black Pearl. I LOVE it and I own it on DVD. It is unlike other Disney movies recently (because it's actually GOOD). GO SEE IT. NOW.
