Introduction A Faerie is not just a creature which only dwells in the minds of dreamers. Chances are that you have seen a faerie at one time or another and just not realized it. The chances are very likely since you probably don't know how to distinguish a faerie from a human. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is who, often I even have trouble telling the differance I read alot of faerie pages and I can see that most of them aren't abought much more than wings. But there is more than just the physical attributes. The spiritual side of a faerie is a lot more important than the wings are. Also it is said that faeries don't use their wings to fly, wings are just a representation of their actual powers. The Fae "Sub-Religion" Firstly fae can be of any religion, Christianity, Judism, Islamic, Pagan, Wiccan, New Age.... Crystals are believed to hold great healing powers. Other natural stones are also regarded in the same way. The existance of other "unnatural" forces, such as mermaids and witches, are acknowleged. Art and Poetry are stressed. Faeries are very poetic, artistic, and musical. This is one of the characterising factors of a faerie. Also faeries are small in stature. I am very obviously a faerie. Not only are faeries small but they are incredibly graceful, this is why they are wonderful dancers. While this isn't all you could possibly know about faeries this is a good start. |
