Pointillism is a technique I use to create dramatic shadows and highlights placing dots closer together or further apart from one another.� I prefer to use black India ink.� From a distance these portraits often give the look of a black and white photograph.
Original works can be produced from your photo on 5x7 or 8x10 illustration board or watercolor paper.�� Photographs will be returned to you along with the artwork.�� For best results please submit quality photos that are close-ups if possible.�
You will also have copyrights for the artwork so that greeting cards, stationary, notecards or other copies may be made to share with family and friends. |
