| April 7-19 2005: For years, people have told you "Don't believe everything you see on TV." I don't think you need to worry anymore. TV has no reason to lie to you. That's what the Internet is for, right? April 19-June 2 2005: Have you ever felt like your classes are just an experiment so the teacher can improve the next year? It's just one big cycle, and when they finally decide what works best, they retire. June 3-October 25 2005 (wow): I was watching an old episode of Seinfeld, and Jerry's going to do a show in Buffalo. So he's on the plane, and the attendant (as I've been told by the guys in Legal to call them) tells him to put his seat belt on. She says that they're flying into a blizzard. So I'm sitting there, watching the show... and thinking Yep- that's Buffalo. October 26-November 18 2005: Can you question what someone believes in? You can, I suppose, but it may not be the best choice to look at them and say that they're wrong. November 18-December 14 2005: Lennon said in song "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." What happens when your only plan is to live? December 15-22 2005: I don't trust my education. They tell us about communist propaganda, how it lies to the audience, tells them how great everything is and how great their country is. But how do I know that same information isn't just American propaganda, designed to keep American students from becoming disallusioned with the "great system" we have today? December 23-28 2005: There's this whole "politically correct" deal going around now, you're not supposed to say "Happy Christmas", you're supposed to say "Happy Holidays", it's now called a "holiday tree"... but if these so-called "politicians" care to look at the calendar, they'll see Christmas listed as a national holiday. So does this mean we aren't allowed to say "Happy Veterans' Day" anymore? I forgot to move the the quotes to the archive for about seven months... so here's the quote that was up from some point in Spring 2006 to July 14: Guys are all alike. Most of us will deny it, but for the most part, if a guy says something to a girl, and she tells another guy, he'll know exactly what it means. July 14 2006 - March 19 2007: Computers are a series of electronic components. Humans are a series of organic components. Neither device uses magic. Therefore, Humans do not have a magic, if you will, connection with computers giving them the ability to restore lost data. |
