LISBON
june 2003. Jose and I went a few days to Portugal. Lissabon and a small vilage outside Lissabon called Sinta. On this page you can see a few pictures showing the things we've done, visited and ofcourse of us. Enjoy!
On the ferry to Christo Rei, a big statue of Jesus on the bank of the Tagus overlooking Lisbon.
This is the statue of Christo Rei. You can actually go up there and have a nice view of Lisbon
Sinta, a small village just outside Lisbon. On the background you can just make out the two chimneys of Pal??acio Nacional.
This is at the Moorish castle in Sinta. You have a gr8 view from there!
At the railwaystation of Sinta. Portugal is well known for ceramic tiles. Lots of houses and buildings have these on the outside. It sure looks gr8 don't you think? I wish we had some houses like that in The Netherlands. Sure would spice up the landscape. :-)
