In view of the horrible terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11th, 2001, we here at Poets' Podium have dedicated our December 2001 issue to the victims of these heinous crimes as well as to the men and women who strove to help those trapped in the aftermath, many of whom died in the act.
We thank all of our valued members who contributed their poetic talents to memorializing these tragic events in their poetry. We have published them and have sent copies to the United States Embassy in Ottawa and to the Mayor of New York. |
