| Frances' Fury by Kenneth A. Elliott Whipping waves splash and roll, Rain pouring down soaking every soul. Frances shattering and scattering homes and trees Roofs go flying with the hurricane's seize. The river churning in the violent grasp Of Frances' fury making everyone gasp. Wind whistling constantly, shaking the trailers, Howling like a pack of angry sailors. Boats on the river heading for shore; Those moored there are still not sure That they will not sink as the waters flow Onto their decks; to the bottom they go!
