Incomplete stanzas in the key of life

Love me, hate me, but love your self first,
For self must overstand self to heal the pain
Of death brought on by constantly being
broken, torn, scratched and dented

Conceptualize this, bystanders withstand but don't
Understand the reason that we must be for self,
And herald not to the voices of destruction crying out
Obsolete, incomplete, distorted, and depleted.

Along the silent places of my heart.
I surrender to the Universal God who IS
And I acknowledge my incompleteness
Cracked, whacked, racked, and smacked.

Without the benefit of these doubts running
Rampant along the corridors of my Crazed mind
insane, profane, and inane. Truth draped in
hazy interludes of crystal brilliance.

There, Scorched, burnt, discarded and retarded,
I stand, a victim of my own willingness
To be all to everyone but nothing to me.
Now, Used, misused, abused and confused
I return to my essence, and the perfection of it all.

Time for Enough

Lover wait, please don't go
so much more to explore.
Times spent wondering
the next moment, a look and

then but we never had enough .

Friend stay, let me caress you
this last time, before you go again.
Oh, when you come the sun sings,
the birds dance and I'm young just for you,
it seems we never had enough.

Soul mate linger, allow the warmth of our love
to fill the hour, one more time,
as we revel in our joy
as the rainbow form in your eyes,
once more-
it seems we never had enough.

Memory fill me,
allow our laughter
to chase away the tears,
allow the pleasure
to plug the hole forming in my soul.

I’ll cherish these hours
till that tomorrow
when we will
have time for enough.

When was the last time?
