One look across a crowded room, our eyes they
meet at last.
My body started stirring, these feelings spread so fast.
You glide so swiftly across that room, with elegance and grace.
Now you stand here by my side, your hand upon my face.
You cup my face in both your hands, you look into my eyes,
no words are even needed, just gentle little sighs.
Your hand slides gently down my back, an action all too quick.
My head begins to spin around, my throat is getting thick.
You pull me closely to you, and then your lips meet mine.
I'm feeling really giddy, is it love or just the wine.
Before I know it you pick me up, and take me to your bed,
emotions all a flutter and still there's nothing said.
Your hands begin to wander, my body does reciprocate.
The time is going quickly, I know it's getting late.
You kiss my body gently, my hands they find the spot.
Our clothes discarded fully, it's getting rather hot.
A tenderness and freedom, I can show when you're with me
Our bodies meet as one, for an eternity.
The tempo it is speeding up, bodies glistening in the sun,
I arch my back and dig my nails, as a fire through my body does run.
You collapse upon me gently, knowing that you are spent
You will tell me in all honesty, how much this really meant.
No words were spoken through this time, no words were needed here,
We both knew what it meant to us, with a simple little tear.

I Love You
A long and lonely night alone
I watch the stars above.
I think of you my darling
I dream about our love.
Why did you have to leave me
Our life was full of fun
My life it is so empty
My crying never done.
Your illness made you cranky
My love for you just grew.
My heart is yours forever
And yes, I know, you knew.
Before I say goodnight my love
Inside me is a glow
There is this little person,
Someone that you should know.
Our daughter was born this day
Her daddy she will know
I'll tell her every little thing
And she will love you so.
Goodnight my darling husband
I love you with all my heart
My life will never be the same,
But you've given me a wonderful start.
