Adverbs, Adjectives, Forms Of The Verb Be
Tomorrow, today, yesterday, never.
Keeping me high, making me low.
Holding me close, letting me go.
Love, life, eternal, being.
Time, no time, night or day.
When I’m at work, or when I’m at play
Thinking, debating, daydreaming, scheming.
Hoping, praying, just hanging on.
Planning to see you before not to long.
Knowing, wondering, stargazing at noon.
Having, wanting, missing you too.
Being, not being, thinking of you.
Writing, exciting, letting, regretting.
Repeating, omitting, passing the time.
Knowing you’d call if you just had a dime.
Adverbs, adjectives, forms of the verb be.
Nouns, pronouns, even conjunctions.
Phrases, clauses and all of there functions.
Words, the right groups of words make up sentences.
There is only one sentences that I am sure of.
It is the fact that I want to be your love.
Guessing, convalescing, letting you know.
Marking, remarking and knowing it’s true.
I can’t do a thing without thinking of you.
Yearning, learning, longing, my hearts burning.
Aching, consuming, making waiting for you to be kissing.
Hoping too that me you are missing.
Seeing, no seeing, what that I saw.
Timing, rhyming, again and again.
Knowing it’s time for this poem to end.
