Up until last year, I published and edited a mystery ezine and will probably resume that in the near future:

Personal statement
I was born in Port Elizabeth and grew up in different parts of Cape Province, as it used to be known. I live in Gauteng with my husband and three lively children, each of them an inspiration to any writer. When it comes to reading and writing, poetry is my first love, although I have written non-fiction articles as well. At present, besides writing poetry, I'm busy co-authoring a fictional series of books with another South African writer. We've completed about six books in the series and we have just started editing the first book. My dream is for poetry to become important to the man in the street and for people to know that one of the best types of soul food is, and always will be, poetry.
Sweet Kisses
Soon my love will come
To bestow sweet kisses
On my naked limbs.
I await him eagerly.
The moment he arrives,
None but I will know;
His coming is quiet;
He enters softly, tenderly.
I wish I had his patience.
Instead I shake and sway,
Jealously watching others.
I hope he comes here first.
I yearn for his embrace
That will surely remove
The chill from my heart.
Come, Darling, come soon.
He's arrived, my love has come!
Soul-keeper, Love-bringer
Defrost my barrenness.
I am yours, take me now!
If I cry now, don't be sad;
For I am joyfully content
His kisses have left
Glorious bruises for all to see.
I am alive at last, look and see.
Spring's blossoms nodding
Happily on my branches
For my love, he has come!
