Personal statement: I was born in Greeley, Colorado.(USA) I’ve lived on our family farm all my life. I graduated from high school in 1970 and went to a junior college for one year. I’ve farmed and dairyed (quit dairying in 1995) full time since 1971. I’ve been writing poetry, short stories and working on a novel. I love to read anything really. I guess you could consider me a self educated man. My wife and I are the proud parents of three children, and one grandson.

Longing Listless
passionate heart, anxious for love
longing mistress, misguided trust
Longing Loveless, lead her astray
false promises on a fateful day
loving mistress, she needs passion
soul searching for unbridled love
Longing Lustful, passions unfurled
fulfilling the flesh, cheating love
touching tonight, not for today
Longing Life, she was dismayed
a treasure chest full of hot coals
burning the flesh on beds of fire
earthly pleasures, she cries unsatisfied
in loves dismay, her heart tires
worn but not felt, ignoring the need
holding, not feeling or believing
an imperfect soul cries a lovers creed
just to be loved and truly desired
