Date of birth: 12-17-44
Marital status: Married
Education:
I have been trained in the use of herbs, receiving many certificates after thousands of hours of study under Master Herbalists.
Interests:
Writing poetry is my main interest followed by crocheting (which I teach in several area schools and community centers), and gardening.
Publish writing: One published in the Poetry Guild Anthology in 1999
Personal statement:
I was a secretary at Eastman Kodak Company before my children were born and then again after they were grown and gone from home. I was priviledged to be a stay-at-home Mom for all their growing years. I have four daughters and four grandchildren (ranging in ages from 1 to 13). I owned my own housecleaning business for 12 years and then became an Herbalist, and have owned the Isle of Herbs (say it fast and it says, "I love herbs") for 12 years. I counsel people with their nutritional needs. I derive great satisfaction from helping people regain their health. I also write poetry for and about those I love and care for which is my first love and the most spontaneous thing I do.
There is no cure for my life without you,
No future of love and care and concern
I find myself reaching to feel for you,
Helpless to know and understand
how you could have been taken from me
in the brightness of our love
in the strength of our relationship, so strong.
I scorn your leaving with pain,
I perceive the God who allowed it
with disdain, with anger, no, hatred.
I endure indescribable waves of grief
automatically washing over my soul.
How we loved! How we devoted ourselves
one to the other, my husband, my love.
Now I wander alone, overflowing tears,
begging that same God
to bring you back to me.
He answers me not! He is silent!!
