Standing
up
Face broken, bleeding and bruised,
the bastard dropped her off
at a hospital after it was his hands
that left her abused.
No one knew why he did this
to his wife, or what was going
on in his sick mind that could
have costed her life.
But now she is standing up,
taking a fight against him
and many that put their hands upon
the wives they sworn their hearts to.
For this woman is many of women,
whom may have been broken and bruised
but will keeping on fighting through and
through.

Whoo hoo!!! Today is the day!
I am going to spread some love
around the world and make everyone's
heartbeats play.
For this year, I am not going
to use my bow and arrow. I am
with this century now, I have
bigger and better ammo that
will more hearts palpitate.
I have everything from a sonar
to track those that try to run
and hide, to an Uzi filled with
love bullets that will never
miss anyone who tries to evade it
and slide.
Yep this year I am going to
spread more love to all around
the earth. By late year they
will be in love.
They might not like it,
but love itself is
unescapable and I am going
to spread it for all that it is
worth.
For many years cupid
has shot many hearts
with his arrow and spreaded
love all over the world,
Until one look of
pysche, he took his
own shot.
He did not know how
it happened, for his
mother the goddess of
love told him to
make this one fall in
love with the ugliest
man. But instead it was
he that fell in love
and messed up that plan.
After months of love and
betrayal from her curious
nature, he decided that
even true love can surpass
a human's failure.
So now here it is
the twenty first century,
his sweet love is still
with him and will always
be, for mind and heart
can never be apart.

There is an old Motto that says
"sticks may break our bones
but words will never hurt me"
Though some feel that words will never cause pain,
if so why do those speak their
thorn of words and what do they have to gain.
A harsh word can more damage
more than that person sees or knows,
for harsh words are like a thorn
from a rose.
So when one decides to do harm with their comment,
please refrain your tongue
because not all hearts are made of
cement.

Oh, how I wish I could help,
but can only listen and comfort her
through her pain and suffer
She found out,
through years of being together
with child
and stormy weather,
through vows and words
of being united as one
She found out through pain and tears
that those words were none
She tried to help with the problems
he has gone through
but ended up with a heart and eye
both black and blue
She still hopes he will see the light,
to stop the pain and fight.
But time will tell for her now
to find help for her and
her little angel somehow.

By the moonlight that glows in the night
She sits by her favorite window seat
dreaming of soft little hands and feet.
Though she anticipates the miracle inside her to
arrive
She still remembers the first heartbreak
that was never born alive
Every night she looks up in the night sky and
pray,
for a second chance that this miracle growing in her
will breathe and stay.

Where do I go if the path I walk on has many thorns
do I keep on that path and try to cut through
until I am bleeding and torn
Do I try to find another easy and short path
that will cut down time walking and stressing
a path without worrying or guessing
Or do I walk down a path that has a gate
where there all and can sit
and have a long wait
I think I will stick with the path of thorns,
because it is life path is full of challenges and pitfall
that can be cut through with time, patience and determination
and when I cut through, knowing I will be bleeding and torn
I will have come to a better life and be reborn.
