"Nature's Joy"
From the poetry collection of Susan Jane Kahon
Magnolia blossoms in the air A quiet place to rest in peace Join us in Georgia's natural love Your heart will be greatly pleased The many colors of the rainbow Are reflected in the water, deep The creeks and rivers flowing on As raindrops make the waters steep There's a sturdy bridge to cross To pass over to the other side... The dogwood trees are blossoming It's just Georgia's wondrous pride.. You can put your feet in streams And coolness touches every soul Lakes, and foliage rich with green It's natural beauty makes you whole Take my hand, and I will take you to know this lovely place of rest Nature's riches abound here Making Georgia truly blessed Close your eyes in daydreams Then move your eyes up to the sun Thank God for this Southern joy And rest there, when your day is done written by Susan Jane Kahon May 9 2002 11:58am ICYU
