| "The Artistry Of My Soul" |
| From The Poetry Collection Of Susan Jane Kahon |
![]() |
| You are the artistry of my wandering soul You bring sunshine whenever I'm blue You keep my hopes safe from the wildest of winds My sweet, summer dream...that is you... You're the awakening of my heart The peaceful yearning of unopened flowers I'm calling you, my only home Where I pass away all of my hours.. You know the language of love And I give my heart and my soul, in return Each time I hear you whisper my name It's another love lesson..I'll learn. Why do I love you, what can I say It's the love that I see in your eyes The touch of your hand, caressing me soft And your lips, never tell me sad lies If you only knew, my every dream You'd know that it's you that I've sought The one set above, all others I've known You've invaded, my every thought You are the one, who speaks to my soul When mere words can never convey I just have to look upon your sweet face And I know what you're wanting to say.. People may come, and people may go... But I crave you, like nothing I've known.. I've found the one who lights up my world, And I've claimed you, for my very own The artistry of my soul.. written by Susan Jane Kahon May 6 2003 ICYU 8;40 pm |
