Tears Fall Tonight

As I lift my head up,
I feel the tears roll down my face,
closing my eyes while thoughts scatter,
lost in caverns with no answers,
a warm yet dreadful unforgettable
pain burns inside.
Aching caring heart
hurting for a special someone,
regrets fill my soul.

I wanted to be with her,
I wanted to talk with her,
I wanted to say I love you,
tonight.

More tears form small ponds in my eyes,
lids overflow again.

My heart needs to speak to hers,
give the love, comfort desired,
love that pours from within my gaze,
tears fall tonight.

She is in good hands,
they know what they're doing,
to be still afraid,
they haven't went inside her,
for that is tomorrow,
questions answered.

Tears fall
wanting to hold her,
wanting to kiss her,
wanting to say I love you.
Tears fall tonight.
