Shadow By Gabriella0000 Ah, faintly I remember this cold December When each dying glow of the candle ember Wrought its ghost along the wall to remember The terror that filled me, chilled me to be its member Terror stricken had I become, no more to succumb to this countenance so strong. Unappealing, I stood there numb Words escaped me. Wise as I, suddenly struck dumb Remembering each terror filled moment, my heart gone numb Today it seemed while reading elusive terror from my book Suddenly the walls closing in were being shook Alluring terror had wrought its shadow upon the nook Oh, how my heart pounded deep within as I shook Terror and panic began to fill deep down within me Voice would not prevail as I sent up my plea Screaming into the air with exuberant panic to see "Oh, my God, no more terror. Just the branch of a tree!"
