Incomplete Rantings at 2 PM By Wind0fChange Incomplete Rantings at 2 PM I acknowledged it today, this degradation of my planet, this fractured fragmentation of the moral dilemma, this holocaust of life that has rendered me inert, apoplectic, confused, incensed, tearful, chaotic, repulsed and afraid. This lifeless array of stolen Somalian camel jockeys, tossed about like sacks of fruit, their vapid eyes telling whole-life stories in a single glance, starving to exist, staying lighter than air, sleeping on sand while allowing flies to walk their faces as if this intrusion is the flies’ right of passage, losing their childhood into an Arabian black hole, wanting their mothers, knowing in their hearts they may have been forgotten and accepting that with the final resignation of an old man preparing to die. This sea of Greek babies encased in iron cribs, sentenced to life at birth, whose eyes only see condemnation of what is not normal never knowing what this is because there is no opposite, just an absolute in this loveless void, who are tied in position naked and howling for endless years, never touching, seeing or feeling love, captive forever on a bed of white with no color, hearing the clang on clang as the iron beds meet with every ritualistic rock driving them further into the nothingness of their beings. This Russian prison for children, hushed and kept secret in locked closets of its government, demanding two or three years penance from these ‘delinquents’ caught stealing clothes to wear or a loaf of bread to eat. Who are made to stay in tiny cells of eight for twenty three hours a day, while waiting to exercise in marching position for that last hour, never having enough to eat, missing their mothers, knowing their fathers would be there to see them if only the government would have told them where they were. Confused because their crime of need has been punished so harshly, happy to spit out their reformation, ticking time with a depression so deep they might as well have twenty more years in this jail... And so it goes, this planet of mine, that I thrilled in yesterday, whose sweet breath I kissed, with arms full of trust, enfolding me in cushions of dreams that I languished on... I am waking up. ~~~ Published by HawkeyeStudios May 1st 2000 ~~~ in their online magazine MilleniumShift http://www.millenniumshift.com ( in the 'features' section
