Everything feels so empty without you here
Almost like we're in two different worlds
Which I guess in all reality we are
Whenever you're here you bring sunshine
Into this world of darkness
I reach up to you
Opening...growing...becoming stronger
Each day that you are by my side
But when you leave
I'm once again afraid...lonely
Again I'm left in this world of darkness
Searching now...
For a light...for a candle...
Anything that will guide me
Out of the darkness
Back into the light 
And once again into your arms
