When sorry isn't good enough
And words have been exchanged
And the pain hurts way too much
For things ever to be the same...

When we're living just to exist
And feelings are no longer there
And all the vows that we once said
Have vanished into thing air...

When our life seems dull
And is nothing but routine
We think about the what ifs and might have beens
Of all the things unforeseen...

When the days go by one by one
And the endless nights do too
I shed many heartfelt tears
Over all the things I do...

When loneliness and heartache
Have taken over my soul
What is that I need
To once again feel whole...

When happiness escapes my grasp
And the rainbow leaves my eyes
Who will help me along the way
And yet never tell me lies...

When I'm living in a dream world
And all my dreams are gone
Who will come and take me away
And make me want to continue on...

When all the tears have dried
And I awaken to a new day
Maybe it's then my prince will come
And carry me away...
