Shades Of Gray


Somewhere inbetween the...
shades of gray

Between hope and despair

Between right and wrong

In the middle of certainity
and uncertainity

To win, to lose
(and really in order
to become the victor
one must learn defeat)

Sanity or insanity

Where do we stay when there
is no night or day?

In between...
at least I think

You laugh, you cry
and even sigh

But to really live
you stay in the middle

And even then...
is gray not sometimes grey
