Reasons For Tears


There are many reasons
for tears.

Maybe a broken heart,
a lost yesterday.

Maybe you left and did not
say goodbye.

A childs first day of school;
they do grow up.

You might have snapped
and never meant to.

It could have been
many, many reasons
for her tears.

The reason for tears
that I hold so true within
is the one that matters to me
as I sit and ponder what she
feels inside.

When a woman says
"I love you."

That is when her tears
really begin.
