Judgement Day


I kneel before You.
I am here.
As it is written,
as it is spoken,
I listen.
The more that is read,
The lower I bow my head.
There are no secrets to hide.
I am being told
the whole of it all.
Shamed from what is read,
I listen more.
And through this I
stay in silence;
I dare not defend.
Shame is within me now,
more now than then.
The voice ceases, and yes,
I raise my head.

Stand up, my son;
do not despair.
The pages of sin I cast away.
Forever gone,
forever turned to dust.
Rise up higher and stand with Me.
You believed in Me;
now I believe in you.
Walk into My kingdom,
your eternal home.
