If There Is


If there is no hope, no desire
then what does tomorrow bring?

Tomorrow carries all that we live for
and all that we die for.

Tomorrow brings with it the love
I have been waiting on so long.

Tomorrow brings the rain needed for
the flowers and trees.

Tomorrow and long after tomorrow
I shall always welcome.

To give up is to give into the darkside
of no hope and desire.

This I can't live today...
or any day to come.

If there is, then by choice...
let me live.
