Invitation

Sitting here enduring the road
Returning to home below
With but one thing upon my heart
Of a woman forever to glow.
Not a flaw have I seen
Within your character to glean,
A laugh and a smile more attractive
And beautiful than the lengths of the Nile.
With eyes that reach down
And intrigue my heart,
Your stare is one I can be anxious for
Both day and night.
I seek now to be part of this life I see;
To experience you and invite you to experience me.
Not to rush but to take things slow
Just to experience things as God would have them bestowed.
Will you let me dance with you o'er the land?
And let me spend an evening so special to you
Meeting your every desire in this time anew?
If you will accept my hand
And let us dance with the trains
Please now say yes
To conclude this refrain.
