As a follower, why should I be ashamed?
I have done nothing wrong,
And yet I am persecuted daily.
So tell me, why should I be ashamed?
I guess in the eyes of others
I'm speaking a different language.
A language so few really know,
But does this mean I should be ashamed?
I go to church and worship my God,
You go to school and worship your gods.
And I am the one being persecuted.
Again please, should I be ashamed?
As one of only a few
I say to each one of you,
If Christ leads you one way
And your mind leads you another,
Always follow Christ,
Because following the Creator
Is nothing to be ashamed of!
I am an unashamed follower!
