Eyes open nature’s beauty
Colors so intense

I see
I see in colors and variations
Not in black, white or gray
I see in beauty and optimism
Not in devastation and pessimism
The opportunities, so varied and alive
Sure, like everyone I can swing both ways
Have those pessimistic moments of time
But that is not how I live my life
Optimism is the key to my happiness
Why dwell on the pessimistic or
Things I can not change, too energy draining
I prefer to live a life with energy conserving or
building
Negativity is a downer and is self-destroying
So much to rejoice in around me
Why should I waste my time crying?
Life is for living, laughing, and loving
