September 2000
"Why ?"
Although I never knew you,
I loved you with all my heart,
For some unexplained reason,
God felt He had to keep us apart.
I couldn't touch and hold you,
And with that I regret,
The short time we did spend together,
Is a memory I'll never forget.
You were taken from us suddenly,
And nobody could tell me why,
And now with everyday I think of you,
I must go through the pain again and cry.
