We Stand Together
As I watch the T.V.
Broken hearted,
Do they understand,
Just what they started?
To crush the States,
And leave us ignited,
But we're pulling together,
Finally united!
Black and White,
Latin and Asian,
We're all Americans,
On this soboring occasion.
We stand together,
Remembering who died,
We will show the world,
Our American pride.
They sent us terror,
They thought we couldn't weather,
Again,fighting for our freedom,
We stand together.
I thank this man,
Who's heartless and defiant,
For he's brought us together,
He has awakened the giant.
For we are a nation,
Free,Brave,and Strong,
We have been segregated,
For much to long.
We will laugh again,
And childern will play in the street,
For our Nation's pride,
Will never bow to defeat!

Maybe now we can see people for people, and not what color they are.I see my country finally coming together as a nation, and it makes my heart swell with pride.I just hate the fact, that,it took a terrorist attack to do so.I will always remember Sept.11,2001
for as long as I live.My thoughts are with all my brothers and sisters who died, and are still missing. You will never be forgotten.
