| Tears of crystal, burning, fall, Pools filled with pain, I sit bearing all So lost in this place, alone and half-blind, Away, I'm pushed farther, trapped within my mind. A ghost has been burned of all that you are, You're burned in my heart, you're leaving a scar. A piece of myself, the part I know best, I find in your hands, locked away in a chest. I reach for your hand, but another's you take, Giving you up was my only mistake. my soul is decaying, I'm dying inside, My heart nonresplendant, extinguished, my pride I'm wilting without you, I'm wasting away, You continue to take me day after long day. I try to stand upward, I try to forgoet, But through stoicism shines through my regret. |
