An Ode To Chamomile Tea

So simple, yet so delicate, the flavour dances and pirouettes on my tongue, filling y body and soul with a warmth that can only come from a lover's kiss. So soothed am I in its temperate embrace -So much, in fact, a smile sneaks onto my face. A smile so pure and whole, it cannot be forced to stay -Nor can it be forced to go away. So quickly it disappears as I savor every last drop ...until, alas, it is gone But has left its warmth and simplicity iun its wake
Notes: I wrote this one night while I was having a very deep, intelligent conversation with someone on the phone when summer school was in session. I had finished my rather large load of homework early and was enjoying the feeling of getting that all off my shoulders. I decided to savor the moment and the conversation with a nice, warm cup of chamomile tea. I don't know if it's just me or if it's a universal thing, but whenever I drink chamomile tea, I just get the most warm, fuzzy, soothing feeling, and I'm almost lulled away to another, happier place, ya know? So...talking to my significant other on the phone, enjoying the tea...I was inspired to write.
