Heaven Steps Within

My Heaven's steps are carpeted with love
Gentle my walk be on wings of the Dove
Illuminated, the inner path be
Consecrated, within souls to search and see
What always has been
To be lit within
The passage of life
Releasing the strife
Let my breath of forgiveness let me soar
Keying the lock upon the open door
To release the fear
That's perfectly clear
Once was created
When I hesitated
And now I ride the spiral that's everything
The universe is within my heart...Sing
Glorious beat to the world's compassion
As we create our own Holy mansion
Facets of the All
Each a sacred call
To paths we followed
Fear stops if allowed
For Heaven is life lived within Love's light
And compassion is forgiving's innermost sight
