~Graduation~
I never thought I'd see this day
I've waited for so many years
To wear a cap and gown and say
"I wish good luck to all my peers"
As I look at all my friends
I see us all just waiting here
I hope this memory never ends
And down my cheek rolls a tear.
I hear them call my name,
My diploma I'll receive,
I'm sure everyone feels the same
For this is the day we leave.
The caps are thrown and tears are cried
I walk away and give a sigh
Today is the day I realize,
It's hard to say goodbye.
I'll remember this day until I die
"I made it" was all I could say.
I look around and give a sigh,
On this my graduation day.
