~Friendship~
Friendship is a thing of trust,
And of respect.
You have to earn your friends,
This you must expect.
We all have friends,
We know we do.
We all have enemies,
Me and you.
I hold my friends close to me,
So I don't feel alone,
Very few decide to flee,
What reason? Unknown.
My friends are my most precious thing,
That I could ever own,
A greater joy in my heart,
I have never known.
I am a friendly person,
An open book I have been told.
Some say people will draw to me,
Until I'm very old.
When I loose a friend,
A part of me goes too,
True friendship needs no mend,
True friends are few.
Those are the most precious kind,
And they are very few,
These friends are easy to find,
If your heart is true.
I send my friends my love,
Each and every day,
Not one do I shove,
Instead for them I pray.
All my loves will be friends,
This is very good to know,
For friends know you the best,
And with you always they will go.
My love will always have me as a friend,
You need not worry 'bout that.
Love and Romance may need some mend,
But I will always love a friend.
My friends are the very best,
They care and watch out for me,
These are better than the rest,
For with friends my heart is free.
