INSIGHT

The day of sunshine
Illuminated the sad heart,
When all was wrong,
Suddenly everything seemed right
With Hope winning over
His foe Dispair.

The birds tasteful songs,
And the feel of the flowers
Makes the sorrowest of days
Feel as though Joy has flooded
The very soul
Of the awakening body
With Sweet Song.
The once worried mind
Was now placid and calm,
As though the succulant wine
Had gone to the heavy head,
And relieved the brain
Of all doubts and fears.
