Alright, so, what is there to say about me...
Well, we'll start from the beginning....

It was a small town in Virginia, on a cold fall night.... just kidding.

My dad used to be in the ARMY, so we moved around a lot.
I was born in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, but only lived there for about
a year. My dad's next assignment was to be stationed in
Naples, Italy. Yup, that's right. I lived in Italy for 4 years.
That's where I started Kindergarten. I don't remember it much...

After Italy, we were stationed in California. Ahhh, the good,
old, warm weather! We first lived in a small city called Rancho Cordova.
Then moved to Rocklin, then El Dorado Hills, then Rocklin, then Rancho Cordova,
then Rocklin again. We moved a lot in California over a 7 year period.
This is where I basically grew up. It is my favorite state yet.
But then my dad got out of the army, and we moved again.

After California, we moved to Arkansas. Yup, the hick state.
Normally pronounced as Ar-Kansas... but we won't get into that.
I only lived there for about 18 months. Which didn't bother me much.
It was really humid there and had lots of mosquitoes! Eww!!

After Arkansas, we moved to Minnesota. No, it isn't always cold there.
They do have summers. And no, they don't wear jackets during summer.
This was a really beautiful place.
But yet again, we moved.

After Minnesota, we moved to Kentucky. This is where I live now.
No, I'm not a hick. But I think I could be turning into one. I do say...
Y'all. I can't help it. I just slips out! And Ain't. It comes and goes
also. Kentucky is gorgeous. This state has more horses....
than anywhere else in the world. It's ridiculous. And land? Goodness,
They have the most beautiful scenery. It's a very serene place to live.

I am back living on campus here at the University of Kentucky.
We are in the brand spanking new dorms.
They call this place "The Holiday Inn", with good reason.
So more school and exams, woohoo!

My parents have recently moved back to Minnesota.
My dad received a promotion and they told him he needed to move.
My sisters and I are here for now, but who knows for how long..
I want to stay for awhile... But I am the odd one of the family after all...

We have two Quarter Horses boarding here in Kentucky.
Chipped Brick and Shesa Hollywood Hero a.k.a. Chip and Holly.
These are my sister's and dad's pride and joy. I like them okay...
I ride with my sister every now and then..

I don't really have a variety of interests. Mainly I am centering on school
for now. I am studying Civil Engineering and it takes up most of my time.
I try to work out and find time to write, but it just seems hard.
Life will work itself out, I know I'll find peace somehow...

Writing poetry is an interesting thing. It creates a world for me.
It is a place for me to be myself. You can say so much without speaking.
Words don't judge you, scorn you, or make fun of you.
The simply are what you want them to be. Nothing more, nothing less.
Poetry is a window into a person's soul... it gives you a glimpse into their world.
Shines a light into shadows you never knew were there.

My other love is Jesus Christ. I am a firm believer in the Lord.
There are those out there in this world that live without hope, love or faith.
Without those three things, you have nothing. There is a void you cannot fill.
He fills your life with happiness. He is the only person you can trust.

"Christ died for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous,
to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body, but made alive by the Spirit."
- 1 Peter 3:18

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
- Romans 6:23

"The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him,
and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment
for every careless world they have spoken.
For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
- Matthew 12:35-37

When it comes to great friends... I have only but a few...

There is Tina, first and foremost, my best friend in Minnesota.
I have known her for only a few years, but when we met, it just clicked.
Even though I am bad at making phone calls, she always manages to remember.
We talk as often as possible and about everything.
I love her like a sister and can't wait to see her when I go home.

Of course, I cannot forget Tim.
He is going to school to be a preacher and I know he will be great at it.
We are definitely the oddest pair of friends.
We have barely anything in common, but get along ridiculously well.
I rarely remember times where we weren't laughing.
This is one friend that stays true,
and for that I am thankful.

Then here we have Amber. Her and I graduated together, and
became better friends once we came to college. It's amazing how well
we get along with one another. Best thing is, we are the exact
same size and can share her awesome clothes! :)
She is the biggest sweetheart and always has an open shoulder.
I absolutely love hanging out with her.
You are another sister I am glad to have.

Oh, and then there is Hank. My "Adopted-Brother".
Ok, so he's not my real brother, but I love him just the same.
Hankerchief (my nickname for him) is the greatest guy
in the world, regardless of what he thinks. He is so sweet.
I love you Hankers!!

Now for those I have not mentioned, do not take offense.
There are a few people I have neglected to mention, but you know who
you are. I try to keep some of my life private, thus you are not on here.
But none-the-less, I love you all the same and couldn't move on
day to day without you. Thanks for being the friends you are!

Well, this is just a little about me for now. If there is anything else,
you'd like to know, just e-mail me at
[email protected] .
