Chapter 13

Spike woke up the next afternoon and reached over in the bed to pull Willow closer to him. He started patting the bed when he didn't feel a body next to him. Sitting straight up in the bed he looked around the room. Hearing the water running in the shower, he relaxed a bit and leaned against the headboard. Just as he leaned back, the bathroom door opened.

Willow looked around the bathroom but realized she had forgotten her clothes. <How did I forget them? At least Spike is still asleep. I'll just sneak in the room grab them and run back.> She opened the door slowly and started to walk softly to the other side of the room.

Spike saw her come out of the bathroom and froze. There was Willow, wearing nothing but a towel and his claim mark. And he had never seen anything look more beautiful. He let out a breath he never realized he had been holding while his jeans seemed shrink.

Willow snuck a look over at Spike and froze. Her eyes became wide. "Um...hi."

"Hello, pet."

"I didn't think you'd be awake." Suddenly she looked down at her body realizing what she was wearing and started to blush. "I just need to get something to wear and I'll be right out."

Spike couldn't say anything, so he just nodded his head. As she bent over to grab her clothes, a low moan escaped his lips. <She's not yours to have, mate. You're supposed to be taking care of her not trying to shag her. Like hell she isn't mine. I claimed the chit!> He jumped out of bed and made his way over to her before she turned around.

When Willow turned around, she almost stumbled into Spike. He was standing so close to her, they were practically touching. "Spike!"

"Sshh, luv." He brought his thumb up to her lips and grazed it across them for a moment. He just wanted to touch her.

"Spike, I told you. If we kiss, it changes everything."

Spike pulled his thumb away and slid his hands through her hair. "Everything's already changed, luv." He brought his head down and pressed his lips gently to hers. He felt her start to protest and opened her mouth to protest, which only gave him the opportunity to deepen the kiss.

Willow wanted to protest the kiss. She opened her mouth to do so, but the moment his lips touched her, she lost herself. She lost herself in his touch. In his scent. And in his kiss. She knew she didn't want the moment to end. Slowly, she brought her hands up and laced them through his hair, letting her body crush to his. As the kiss become more about want, she suddenly pulled away and took a step back. They were both trying to catch their breath. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm so sorry." Willow picked up the clothes and ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. She let her fingers drift up to her lips, where Spike had been touching her only moments before.

Spike winced as he heard the door shut and locked into place. He sat on the end of the bed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Bloody hell," he mumbled.

About ten minutes later he heard the bathroom door open and saw Willow coming out with her head down. "Come sit over by me, luv. We need to talk." He watched as Willow did what she was told, without saying anything. "Look at me," he told her but saw her sit still. He placed two fingers under her chin and lifted her face to look at his. He captured her lips with his, placing a kiss upon them before pulling back.

"Spike..."

"No, now you listen to me. Things between us...things have already changed."

"How? What do you mean? Why?"

He grazed his thumb over the bite on her neck. "That bite says everything."

"I let you feed from me. I don't understand. I didn't want you to become dust. I don't..."

"No demon will ever touch you again, luv. You're protected."

"Protected? Spike you've fed off of lots of people. I don't..."

"I've never claimed one before," he interrupted.

"Claimed?"

Spike looked into her eyes and grazed his fingers along the side of her face. "I claimed you. You belong to me."

"Claimed? You claimed me? I-I don't even know what that means but it can't be good."

"It means exactly what I said. That you belong to me."

"I don't belong to anyone."

"You do now."

"And what if I don't want to?"

"That isn't a choice," he whispered. "It CAN'T be undone."

"I can't believe this. So what? I just belong to you now? In what way? Goddess, you hardly even like me."

He drifted his fingers through her hair. "Don't be so sure."

Chapter 14

Willow swatted his hands away from her. Just don't, ok?

You're mine.

I'm not your anything. Willow quickly stood up but realized that she really didn't have anywhere she could go. She was in a hotel room with a master vampire who was determined to believe that she belonged to him. She had no idea where in Sunnydale they even were.

Spike stood up and realized her back was facing him. He didn't like being ignored. He grabbed her shoulders in a possessive gesture. You. Belong. To. Me. Don't fight me on this. He spun her body around so that she was facing him. Maybe you need a reminder, he told her. His eyes the color of cold steel.

A remin

Cutting off her sentence, Spike captured her lips with his, crushing their bodies together. He felt her trying to pull away, which only made him deepen the kiss. Tasting her felt like heaven or the closest thing he would come to it. She tasted like power and innocence. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he held her body in place and slowly felt her melt into him. When he finally pulled away, he saw confusion in her eyes. He wasn't sure if the confusion was because of him or that her own body might be betraying her. You're mine, he whispered and then slowly walked away from her.

When Willow heard the bathroom door click, she inhaled a deep breath. Her fingers automatically went to her neck as she grazed the bite. Her eyes became wide as everything seemed to click. Everything that Spike had told her. Everything she had read about vampires. <A master vampire has claimed me. I've been claimed by Spike.> I think I need to sit down, she mumbled. Just as she sat down on the couch, she heard the bathroom door open.

Spike opened the door and glanced to the bed, which was empty. His eyes fixated on where he had left her, but it was also empty. His eyes grazed over to the couch, where he saw her form. Her shoulders were hunched forward and her head hung low. Slowly he made his way to the couch and sat next to her.

Willow lifted her head slowly and saw Spike sit down next to her. He had on a pair of jeans and nothing else. His hair was still wet from the shower and wavy. I'm sorry this happened, she said softly.

Spike turned his head to look at her. Sorry what happened, luv?

This. Us. You had one weak moment and your demon claimed me. And now we're stuck together. You must hate this.

Surprise wasn't even the word to describe his reaction. I must hate this? Oh, yeah, he replied sarcastically. I hate that I claimed you. In fact, I hate it so much that I've been thinking about doing it again. And I hated kissing you. Must explain why I kissed you again. And havinghaving you here with me He placed his hand on the side of her face, turning her head to look into his eyes. Having you here with me meansit means a hell of a lot. What you did for memy demon takes what it wants, Red.

But that would mean

That a part of me always wanted you. I don't regret what happened. And I sure hell don't hate it.

Willow started biting her lower lip. What happens now?

What do you want to happen?

Chapter 15

I don't know! I don't know what I want to happen.

Spike brushed her hair away from her face. I know what I want to happen. He leaned forward to kiss her.

Willow suddenly jumped up. This is fake. This is all fake.

What are you talking about?

All thisthis kissing  and stuff. It's the bond. Before all this, you didn't even look at me and now you'reyou'rewell look at you!

Spike stood up. The bond intensifies what's already there. That means you already felt something for me, luv. And I know I already fancied you.

You what?

I fancied you. Why else would I want to turn you?

This is wrong, Spike. Me and you. It's

Spike jumped up from the couch. Not wrong. We are not wrong. He stalked towards her, smiling when she started to back up. When her back hit the wall, he placed his hands on her hips. We are very right for each other. You're the fire I need and I'm the danger you need. Your fire to my ice and if you let yourself, we could melt each other. He let his hands drift up her arms and through her hair. If you let yourself, we could be perfect together. You're everything I've ever wanted and I'm everything you'll ever need. Spike took a step back. Now I'm gonna get dressed. I have business to attend to.

Business? It's sunny outside.

I've got my duster and I'll stick to the shadows. It's something I need to go do. I'll pick you up for research but don't plan on staying there long.

Why? Are we going somewhere?

The demon club I told you about. I want to take you there tonight.

But the demons

Won't touch you. In the first place you're a witch and second you're mine. They'd be stupid to even look your direction if not given my consent. Pick out something to wear before we leave for research.

You're just gonna leave me here all day?

You'll be fine. I got you something.

A gift? You really should stop with the gifts. A girl might get used to it and not want to give you up.

Spike looked into her eyes. That's the idea, pet. When he saw her blush, he continued. Go sit on the bed and I'll bring you your gift.

Willow did what she was told and smiled when she saw a rectangular object being placed in front of her. What is it?

Open it.

Willow did what she was told and smiled. A laptop computer. Really? It's mine?

It's yours. Do you like it? I thought it might keep you busy while I went out today.

It's great!

Spike put his duster on while watching her. It's good to see that fire in you, pet. I'll be back later on. Remember what I said. He walked over to her and placed a kiss on her cheek. I'll be back soon, he whispered.

Spike left the hotel in search of the building he was setting out to find. Arriving at his destination , he opened the door and tried to adjust his eyes to the artificial light that flooded the building.

Good afternoon,  sir. How can we help you today?

Willow lost track of time as she checked out the brand new computer. B efore she knew it, Spike came home.

Spike opened the door. Honey,  I'm home, he mocked.

Funny, Spike.

I try. Did you miss me?

Actually,  I didn't think about you. She saw Spike frown. I mean I just kinda got lost with the computer andI'm happy you're home now.

Are you happy?

The question caught her off guard. Of course I'm happy.

Spike sat on the bed behind her and let his arms circle her waist while his mouth moved up to her ear. Are you happy with me? He heard her heart beat pick up. You didn't think about me once, luv? You didn't think about what I said to you or maybe how I make you feel?

Well maybe I thought about you a bit.

Good, he told her. I thought about you too. He kissed his mark on her neck. Are we ready for research?

Yeah.

Spike started to make his way to the door when he noticed Willow wasn't moving. She had gotten up off the bed but was just standing in the middle of the room. You ok?

Yeah.

Well I hate to inform you, but you have to go to the door. It doesn't come to you. Seeing the mix of expressions on her face, he made his way to her. What is it?

I missed you today, she whispered.

Thought you didn't think about me?

We both know that was a lie. I wasn't sure if you'd come back and I

I belong to you as much as you belong to me. I won't leave. So let's get this research bit over with so we can go out.

Why are you so eager to go out?

My demon wants to show off its  mate.
