A Happy New Year

The sun sets
Resting at the west
And it ends another day
As people rest and lay


The stars appear
One by one and clear
And the queen of the night
The moon shines bright


The cool air
Makes the night fair
And the sweetest of all
Is when the snow fall


Children runs with glee
Showing they're free
The winter night ends near
The spring comes rear


As this cold season ends
I stretch my body and bends
I welcome the New Year with a smile
To all the people at any mile


The old days are gone
And new days had begun
As the spring's new sun
Brings a lot of fun
