20 Minutes


One fair afternoon
I was walking along the street
Thinking about my problems
Never knowing how to get them solved
My brain is twisting and turning
Getting tired and hungry along the way
I was looking around the place
Trying to see some good things That might give me comfort
But... It made me even more tired
I just shooked my head and stood still
Wanting to go home fast and take a rest
But when I was passing by
I saw someone extraordinary
He caught my attention
And made me see him closer
And I was surprised
That I saw this person
My heart beated faster
And I cracked a smile on my face
I was refreshed and happy
My hunger and thrist has gone away
Seeing this person made me well
Just by looking at his face
And every move he makes
Makes me feel comfortable
I want to approach him
And talk to him
But, I can't because of the gap
And knowing this gap I fell sad
And my tears almost fall down my face
But I tried not to make them show
Because it can't do anything
The busy people passing by
Keeps on blocking my way
I can't see you anymore
And when I turned my sight
I saw you rode on your car
I wanted to yell at you
And tell you that I'm there
But I was scared and turned away
And now I regret what I did
But still...
The day I saw you...
Is a day I won't forget...
A day that will be forever special...
A day that will remind me...
That I saw my angel...
Wanting to be with you for just a while...
For just as long as 20 minutes...
And hoping to see you again...
