It seems that we have to carry such a big load.
Many things be fall us as we go down the way,
It seems to be an effort just getting thru each day.
The Devil is always close and he causes us much grief,
No matter how we try we just can't get much relief.
At times it seems that no matter what we try to do,
There just doesn't seem to be a way to get thru.
I seem to get so confused at all of Lifes Trials,
I have had to get thru for all of these Miles.
Sometimes I get bewildered and then I get all Sad,
At all the things that happen I get down right Mad.
But this much I know and I know that its right,
I have to depend on my Prayers both day and night.
I call on my Saviour and this I can see,
He is the best thing that has happened to me.
