I try to live the very best I can every day,
Because I know one of these days its going to pay.
Lord I want to live my best for you alone,
And for all my sins I want to be able to atone.
I know it will be tough getting thru my life,
For it will be all filled with trouble and strife.
But with your help I'll make it through, each day,
If I can hold your hand and you lead the way.
So many times I feel like I am so lost,
But I've got to make it no matter what the cost.
There are many times I get to feeling so blue,
That's why in my prayers I must come to you.
Because I know you always show me the way,
You settle me down and then I am okay.
