| "Can You Hear Me" Hello Lord! I know I am not on your list, but I need to chat with you. I promise not to be to long, just for a moment or two. Why is there so much heartache, pain and sorrow today? There seems to be no love for me, the days are dark, lonely and gray. My life never seemed to turn out the way I intend. And the journey through life seems to never come to an end. Troubles galore knock upon my door, have I the strength within me to deal with the issues I face. Or will you give me strength with your love, patience, and grace. God you know I am not perfect and yes I have done wrong. So I ask you Lord help me to be strong. Are you listening to me and are you even there? My problems might seem small to you or do you even care? I hear your words "I will give you strength to face your tomorrows". | "I Hear You" Hello Cora! Yes you are on my list, I checked again and you I have not missed, I am glad you took time to talk to me, For I have missed you very much you see, I watch over you each and every day, I see your troubles I feel your pain, Please know that I love you, And your sins are forgiven as well, Your place is here by me it's true, And not a moment you shall spend in hell, No you shall spend an eternity, In a glorious heaven with your family and me, Your journey is long this is true, And you are judged by what you do, But your life is not controlled by me, I gave you choices and set you free, So I cannot control the pain you feel, Or mask the anguish that we both know is real, I promised to man I would not interfere, Not in the past, present, or coming year, But I shall bear the pain you endure, I feel it too that is for sure, In times when you feel you cannot go on, Those times I carry you until you are strong, And I cannot take away the pain that you feel, Only time can do that, only time can heal, Yes I am listening when your pain to me you bring, And I am here to watch with joy as you sing, Yes I am here and yes I do care, I will be here when ever you wish to share, The strength is always in you I shall help you to find, All that I ask is you keep me in mind. | Here are two poems, One written as a "question to God". The other is "The answer"! This first poem was written by my dearest and closest online friend in a time of deep dispare. If you like her poem you should see her website the link is below her poem. (Might I add! her website is awesome!) The second, A response, Written, I truely believe, by "God himself." With my hand, But I totally forgot that I had written it just moments after I hit the send button. It was not until several months later when my friend "Cora" showed it to me that I even new it existed. And I swear that is the God Honest truth. Please enjoy them both. |
